T Stands For Mom

On Friday, I was headed to lunch and made a quick dash in to get my "free" monthly coffee.

The Spice Merchant is celebrating Mother's Day with boxed mugs for Mom.  In my haste to pick up my coffee, I failed to notice there were different styles.  Mother's Day is celebrated in the States this Sunday, May 11.

I've shown you mine, now it's time to share your own drink related post.  It can be photos, a place you visited, movies, postcards, books, sketches, mixed media, drawings, paintings, tags, scrapbooking, or other art that is digital, hybrid, or traditional, as long as it in some way relates back to a drink, any drink.  Regardless, please share below and Bleubeard and I will gladly visit, as will other T participants.  Please link only your T post and not your blog in general.  Bleubeard would like to remind you that old photos are acceptable because they may be taken any time, not just on Tuesday and not just this year.  Please remember to visit your fellow T participants.

Such pretty mugs - though I hope the mothers who do dramatic and stylish are also catered for.

My friend fK is a Mother of teenage twins and, despite younger than me often tells me how the world runs, too. Funny enough just yesterday I told her she has three kids now ;-) To Mothers, it´s a tough job at times!

Dear Elizabeth, I like the mugs with their nostalgic touch. Mother's Day is also being celebrated in Austria next weekend, but I don't attach much importance to it (just like my mother already did), as it's mostly about business. I love my daughter and she loves me, that's the most important part of it.
All the best, Traude

Very pretty mugs. The boxes are pretty, too, and would make great containers for pens and pencils. Happy T Day

We had ours already in March, it's confusing because Australia is the same as US - May! Happy T day!

Mother's Day has snuck up on me. I'm not sure what we are going to do. Have a grand week, dear Elizabeth.

Dear Elizabeth, thank you so much for your kind and detailed comment and the long time you spent reading my post 😊. I'd better respond right here and now so my intention doesn't get lost. You wanted to know if I liked "Like a Complete Unknown." Yes, we both liked the film – it's not a 100% historical biography, but it's interestingly told, and both my husband and I like Dylan's songs (especially when someone else sings them 😉 – and Timothée Chalamet does a great job!)
It's a shame you've never heard of Niki de Saint Phalle. I think you'd especially enjoy her later works – The Nanas and her Tarot Garden. These works are full of fantasy and woman power. (My tip is: Google it.) By the way, she was half American (on her mother's side) and spent part of her life in the USA. She created her greatest works in Europe (especially in Paris and Tuscany), but there are also works by her in the US. She spent her final years in San Diego, where she also died.
Regarding clothing recycling: I only recycle textiles (including old sheets and towels) that no one wants anymore because they're worn out. Like you, I pass on everything else to people who still want to wear it. How nice that you have a neighbor you can pass on clothes to. That's very good 👍🏻!
Hugs and all the best, Traude
